I got this pop up camper and the inside of the canvas is a little moldy. Not real bad but light black all over inside. I need to find something that will clean it off that dont need to be rinsed since i cant very well spray the hose in there. Thank you

Canvas Mold and Mildew Removal
To remove mold and mildew from your canvas tent, or awning, first vacuum or brush soilded areas to remove any excess dirt. Wash the affected area with a solution of 1/2 cup Lysol to a gallon of hot water. Rinse with a solution of 1 cup lemon juice and 1 cup salt to a gallon of hot water. Allow the canvas to air dry in the sun.

You can also try applying a cleaner such as IOSSO Tent & Camping Gear Cleaner. This cleaner is made to remove tough dirt and mildew stains. Afterwards, you may want to treat the canvas with a water-repellent compound such as Canvak.

Good Luck! :)

i have a 2000 compaq modeled laptop with windows 2000 installed onto it, and i recently installed a wireless card onto it. it asked me to restart and after restarting it, the bluescreen of death popped up. it told me to restart again if this was the first time i had seen the screen so i did. the 2nd time and every time after i restarted it, on the boot up, where it says windows 2000 ,the blue screen of death popped up. i've tried entering the windows 2000 emergancy restore cd into the cd drive, but that doesn't help either. if anyone could help me i'd be vey much thankful.

Try taking out the wireless card if you havent already tried it.

Assuming the above didn't work, tap F8 before Windows starts up (just after the first boot up screen) and select Safe Mode from the menu. Hopefully this will boot Windows into Safe Mode (no drivers etc loaded) allowing you to uninstall the device and its drivers / applications. Hopefully that will get you back up.

Finally you can boot in safe mode and try using System Restore to resotre Windows to a date before you made these changes, assuming you have System Restore turned on before this happened…

the small one takes a dbl to queen but the large one is square! what do YOU use? Its about an 89 Fllagstaff
I really don't like to have a wrinkled sheet under me if I don't have to lol I have fibromyalgia

I bet its 60×60
just use 2 queen top sheets
or you can add about a foot to a queen bottom sheet.
maybe the king fitted will fit but I doubt it

I'm exploring the idea of acquiring a pop up camper or travel trailer. The question I have with the pop up is if there is any weight limitation for the beds? I notice they are supported by two bars, and I alone weight 300 pounds. My wife is an extra 150.

That is why I wonder if I should get a travel trailer that is more structurally sound.

Thanks.

I've had a pop up but traded up to a travel trailer…more security and the beds are much better. You'd be pushing the limit if both you and your wife were on one side of a pop up bed….

Check travel trailers…they don't cost a whole lot more and give you so much more.

I have an HP Pavilion dv6000, and whenever I change the volume using the touch controls, a box comes up that says "volume" and the volume level. This is annoying because it is rather large and pops up in the middle of the screen, and stays there for about 5 seconds. My dad has the same computer (only 17' and a slightly different model, but still a dv6000) and this box doesn't appear on his. If anyone could tell me how to get rid of this box it would be appreaciated.

I have as well a HP Pavilion dv6000 notebook (high five!) and I know how buggy it can be for the volume thing to pop up (especially during fullscreen movies, powerpoints, and it's even worse on games). But no worries, I got your back: I as well want to disable this.

Since I do not know how to precisely, I've contacted HP's online chat with a representative. Here's what they said:

"1. Click Start, All Programs (or Programs), Hewlett-Packard, Notebook, HP One-Touch, then HP One-Touch Configuration.
2. On the One-Touch tab, click the button to reprogram.
3. Type a label for the button, and then select the Application, Document, Folder, or Web site for the button to open.
4. When you donot want a label to appear onscreen when pressing a One-Touch button, Un check that option on the Onscreen Display tab."

Hope that helps. For more information, please go to Hp.com/support

Cheers!

-EDIT-

The process on my system is a little bit diferent. If you are unable to follow the previous steps, please do this:

1. Click Start and Run.
2. Type MSCONFIG and press Enter.
3. Click the Startup tab.
4. Clear the checkbox related to onscreen display for volume
5. Click OK.
6. Restart the system.

This are also instructions steps given to me by an HP representative. Feel free to contact them anytime on hp.com/support.

I'm just now getting into the market of buying a pop up camper. Window shopping really. And all the pictures I see of these campers do not have a connection for towing. Do they make them to where you can pull something behind the camper as well?
Okay. I will just get in the market for an RV. Thx

Some (not all) states DO allow a pickup to tow two trailers, but the front one has to be a fifth-wheel hitch. It's best to check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles before you commit to buy anything.

1) Do you have one?
2) Are they safe? (someone told me it was unsafe to pull them.)
3) How big of a bike do you need to pull it?
Any additional info you have to give me would be so great!
Thanks!

Had one, 20 years ago. Towed over 10k miles including one 5 week, 6,000 mile trip

You certainly have to be aware of what is different with-than-without-it back there and adjust for the changes. Like most equipment, they are only as safe as the operator.

Stopping, or, let me say, HARD stopping, as was mentioned, can be tricky, to say the least.
And think very carefully as to how you're going to handle that rig going around a curve at 55mph and, OMG! you gotta stop or crash into an object on the road! You are leaned over into the turn (yes, even with a trailer on! -It ain't no sidecar!)
You can't let the trailer get out from square behind you or it will push the back of your bike sideways and turn you around. Not a pretty picture!

Live through it and I'll ride with you anytime!

Safe? Only if you are.

I had a, then, new Goldwing ('82), a wife and trailer. The trailer had an 8' x 4' body, the top went up, the "wings" unfolded to make an 8 x 8 off-the-ground tent with a hard roof. Very slick. And storage 6'x3'x 16" deep. Overall, 21' long and with two of us and fully loaded trailer and bike, hit the scale at 1800lbs. (I was 240, she 130)

That 6k trip was from IL to Phoenix, AZ, San Diego, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and back to Chicago AREA. We camped as many days as not.

A big trip with a big load takes BIG equipment, for power and braking safety.A trip like that one, I would not go smaller. Like trucks & trailers (talking pick-ups here, not semi's), the towing vehicle has to be robust enough to handle the pushing, pulling and shoving that the trailer is going to give it.

For shorter 2-3 day trips, I'd shop a much smaller trailer and then find a bike strong enough to haul & halt your rig.

This trip was planned for a long time, and in that order -a trip to remember, accommodation's (comfy trailer) and bike to handle the job.

BTW, the trip? No problems with bike and/or trailer (cruised @ 65+ open road), rained (on the road) a few times (rain suits or motel) minor. "Tipped over" once, at the bottom of a freeway exit, next to a truck-stop, in a down-pour. We were almost stopped (rain on oil slick pavement…), 3 - 4 mph max, and the tires just slipped out from under us. Bike went over, just on to the crash bars (there to protect my legs, and did!) and it "popped" us off like a tired bull. All in slow-motion! Amazing! We "hit" the pavement and did not slide more than an inch or two. No scratches, to us or the bike!
The trailer? Sat there, upright, waiting for us to get it together and get out of the roadway.

Shheeeesh! Sorry to babble on so much!

GO! ENJOY!

Plan ahead, be smart, be safe and tell me about it when you get back!
