Wasn’t life basic back in the early 60’s? This Lambretta Pop Up Camper can’t have done more than 30mph - and certainly looks extemely cosy.
Does anyone recognise where they went? Looks like Bosham near Chichester to me - in which case they need to watch the tide if they go out in their heavy wooden dinghy. The dinky little pop up camper might just end up floating away, and the lovely Lambretta too.

Simply amazing, it would never be allowed in Italy in the ’60s (though this video might be dated late ’50s), also because our families were bigger (4 or more kids)…
Anyway, hats off for Li series 1!

I actually think …
I actually think this is great for sixties motoring where everybody was curteous more so than now. Where speeds were not breakkneck it was only when the fast jap bikes came in and every one started having accidents that helmets of the cork type had to be worn. I would love to drag one of these boxes around now just to off the plastic car brigade

Did not have to …
Did not have to wear a helmet until 1973. I remember my father having a leather helmet as they were all you could get. Chances are no one made child helmets then. Eee by gum, the good old days.
