Windscreen wiper
Your car is equipped with windshield wipers which are one of the most important pieces of equipment. You cannot take a car onto a public highway without it having windshield wipers installed. The purpose of the wiper is to clear your windscreen of water. Removing grime and other dirt is also an important function because it allows clear vision for the driver.
The primary goal for a windshield wipers is for good visibility. They are also known as windscreen wipers. The windshield wiper design is an arm, this is attached at its base to a motor. The point of contact with the windscreen is a rubber blade which is attached to the arm. The arm pivots backwards and forwards over the windshield, in this way it clears the way of dirt and water.
The speed at which the arm travels across the windshield can be varied. There will be a switch on your control panel for this. There is also a periodic setting which you can use when the rain is light.
The two blade system was replaced by Mercedes with a single blade that allows the wiper to reach into both of the corners.
A really inventive new design of windshield wiper is the Gator Blade windshield wiper. The Gator Blade Windshield Wiper totally outperforms each of the other windscreen wipers on the shelves for giving you a great-looking and spotlessly clean windshield. A guy fires a bug bazooka at the windshield of a car in one of the promotional videos. This bazooka shoots bugs at the windshield at over 100 miles an hour and the Gator Blade windshield wiper sweeps them away as if they were just water.
Windshield wipers also work in conjunction with a water bottle underneath the hood of the vehicle which is connected to spray nozzles on your windscreen. Spray jets a controlled from the dashboard of your car with another switch. You can clean your windshield whilst you are still driving. This is known as the wet arm system. Wiper blades are also used to clean rear windows and headlamps.
